Introducing Laura Howard & Homeopathy to Altivitas

Laura is a Homeopathic Consultant with 14+ years’ experience applying classical homeopathy, lifestyle assessment, and lifestyle coaching to manage and heal from chronic and acute conditions for people and pets.

Using holistic treatment planning to support long-term wellness, she is a huge advocate that food is medicine, and the body can heal itself if given the right conditions.

Having overcome herself's significant “chronic health issues” with Naturopathic Medicine, she has a wealth of knowledge and is eager to help others do the same.

Homeopathy is a gentle, individualized approach that focuses on the whole person rather

than a diagnosis alone. While it differs from conventional medical treatments, many people choose to explore homeopathy as part of a broader wellness plan. Our role is not to replace necessary medical care, but to provide an additional option for those seeking a more holistic, personalized approach to health and well-being.

At Altivitas, we continue to expand the ways we support healing. We believe healthcare should not only address symptoms, but also seek to understand and support the underlying causes of imbalance. Homeopathy aligns with our commitment to personalized, root-cause-focused care, serving as another tool to support the body's innate capacity for healing.

Did You Know? Your Insurance May Reimburse Certain Self-Pay Services

Many insurance plans include out-of-network benefits that may help reimburse you for eligible self-pay services. Depending on your individual plan, services such as nutrition counseling, physical therapy, and other qualifying wellness services may be eligible for reimbursement.

How it works:

  1. Contact your insurance company before your appointment and ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network benefits?

    • Is this service eligible for reimbursement?

    • What documentation is required to submit a claim?

  2. Schedule your appointment and pay for your self-pay service at the time of your visit.

  3. Request a superbill from our office. A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes the information your insurance company may require to process your claim.

  4. Submit the superbill to your insurance company for possible reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits.

Because every insurance plan is different, reimbursement cannot be guaranteed. We're happy to provide a superbill and answer questions about the process.

Make the salad:

  • When cutting basil chiffonade style, which is very pretty, stack a few basil leaves and roll into a tight cylinder; with a sharp knife, slice crosswise into thin ribbons.

  • In a large bowl, combine the cubes of watermelon, basil, and feta squares. Add salt and pepper and gently toss (don’t break apart the watermelon).

  • Pour the mixture onto a serving plate. Drizzle with the dressing, and scatter with a garnish of cheese and basil on top. Serve!

  • You can serve this salad cold or at room temp.
